New Hampshire Unemployment Rate Drops to 2.4 Percent

Recently, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released both national and state unemployment and jobs data from March. According to the national employment situation report, the national unemployment rate dropped from 3.6 percent in February to 3.5 percent in March.

New Hampshire’s March unemployment rate was 2.4 percent, a 0.3 percent drop from February’s rate of 2.7. Additionally, the preliminary data shows about a 2,000 increase in jobs across New Hampshire with the largest increases coming from the financial activities, business, and hospitality sectors.

Advocates for people with disabilities in New Hampshire are encouraging them to make a voting plan ahead of tomorrow’s election, by locating the correct polling station, reading up on voting rights and learning how to use accessible voting equipment.
