Over the past week, due to rising demand for gas and increased oil costs, gas prices across the country have taken a slight rise. On April 4, the average price per gallon of gas in the US was $3.507 just a few cents higher than prices a week ago. Despite this rise, the average price per gallon today is still over 70 cents per gallon cheaper than prices a year ago.
Here in New Hampshire, the average price per gallon of gas is $3.233, right on par with prices last week. Additionally, prices are about 90 cents per gallon less expensive than last year.
